Our Team

Goldwings Supply Inc., a family owned and run business now includes Frank Young’s daughter Lia joining the team with an A&P certification and Marketing background. His wife Ululani, became active in the more recent years making it a family affair. As second-generation women owned and operated small Native Hawaiian business, we service various State, City, County and Federal Agencies throughout the US.

Lia has over two decades of experience in the aviation industry.  She is in charge of strategic development and special projects, in addition to daily operations.  She is part of the Airfield lighting, Solar and Pavement Sales team.  Lia is a former pro beach volleyball player and continues to enjoy weekly beach sessions.  Lia and her husband Ian, son Sage and daughter Gisele and spend almost every weekend enjoying the ocean or the outdoors in beautiful Hawaii nei.

Ulu brings a wealth of experience in Human Resources and Management as a former Director of a private Medical Organization.

She is our Human Resources Administrator and Payroll Officer. She enjoys the outdoors, planting native plants and trees and is an active member of several environmental non-profit organizations.

Frank started Goldwings in 1976 after moving back to Hawaii from San Francisco working as a mechanic for United Airlines. He has decades of experience in aircraft parts and airfield lighting. He is part of out Airfield Lighting and Pavement Sales team, in addition to being on the Board of Directors. He enjoys golfing, walking and spending time with his grandchildren in Hawaii and Nevada.

Frank is known as the Ambassador of Goldwings, his legacy thrives in Goldwings culture and core business philosophy.

Vic joins the Goldwings team with over 39 years of Aviation experience. He was awarded “Master Technician” in the USAF and “Journeyman Mechanic” for Federal Civil Service at Alameda Naval Air Station, California. Vic oversees Goldwings’ Roadway Division and specialty solutions in Lighting and Aviation.

He enjoys all sports, playing all types of music with the guitar and enjoys spending time with Family and Friends.

Joined Goldwings' in 2017 and has two years of Aviation Experience in purchasing and inventory for Aircraft supply. She supports our Aircraft parts sales and inventory control.

Sid worked for 10 years with the Department of Education as a District Autism Social Worker. Prior to working with the DOE, Sid spent 20 years in Sales and Customer Service. In her spare time, Sid enjoys working in her garden, playing with her dogs Maxx and Jaxx, and spending time at the beach.

Sid joined Goldwings’ in 2015. She oversees our Private, Commercial and Resort Properties for our Solarcology® Renewables Division. This division specializes in solar powered light and signaling devices in general illumination, traffic, aviation and marine.
