We enjoyed discussing wildlife-friendly lighting at the Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii, on Feb. 8, 2024. Our lighting expert Sid Sakamaki answered questions at our booth about our variety of lighting solutions.

Last year Goldwings supplied state-of-the-art SCL2 Series lighting developed by commercial solar lighting leader First Light Technologies to cover the 640-stall Ma‘alaea Triangle Parking Lot on Maui, shared by Maui Ocean Center and Ma‘alaea Harbor Shops.

These self-contained solar LED lights have a filter that reduces blue light below 2 percent, which is the threshold set by the Maui County Council in its efforts to help reduce the impact of artificial light on our wildlife.
