Goldwings celebrated its first Earth Day event, Turn OFF the Night, on April 23, 2022, to raise awareness of the ways we can protect our dark skies and wildlife using innovative lighting solutions. We were pleased to present Marine Corps Base Hawaii with a Recognition of Excellence for its leadership in implementing state-of-the-art lighting. Participation included the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, International Dark-Sky Association National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Hawaii Energy Illuminating Engineering Society.
